Step into the world of professional golf like never before with the PGA TOUR Champions Pro-Am Experience!
This exclusive event offers avid golf enthusiasts the unique opportunity to play alongside legendary PGA TOUR Champions players and experience the thrill of competitive golf on the newly restored fairways and greens of the Wakonda Club.
Playing alongside golfing legends provides a unique insight into their strategies, stories, and the mental approach that sets them apart.
Throughout the day, you'll receive VIP treatment, including access to the Wakonda Clubhouse, premium amenities, local food & beverage to fuel your game and post-round celebrations to commemorate your experience.
The Principal Charity Classic Pro-Am Experience also features a friendly competition. The chance to test your skills against the legends of the game is a golfing memory you'll cherish forever.

Be one of the few golfers to play at Dennis Albaugh owned “Talons Golf Club” during our off-site pro-am. You will also get the chance to tour Albaugh’s historic world-class car collection.

Alongside a full-scale renovation of Wakonda Club, the Principal Charity Classic is unveiling a reimagined and expanded hospitality experience that will provide a first-class client entertainment experience for your company.
The Oakview Club Sky Suites offer premier views of the finishing hole at Wakonda Club. Providing up close views of the legends of golf - the Sky Suites feature outdoor, covered seating overlooking the par-4, 18th green. Guests can enjoy outstanding views of the closing hole as well as reserved seating nestled under the towering oak trees surrounding the 10th tee.
Completing the ultimate client entertainment experience, Sky Suite guests will also have access to the Oak View Bar, located inside the Wakonda Clubhouse. The bar features comfortable furnishings and an oak-lined bar that will feature the best of Des Moines' craft beer and spirit favorites.
Hole 17 SkyboxEs
- The views of historic Wakonda Club won’t get much better than from the Skyboxes surrounding the 17th hole.
- Featuring outdoor, covered seating choose your venue location that will overlook multiple holes including the exciting 16th hole, the iconic par-3, 17th green and 18th tee.

1922 Club
- Featuring access to the Wakonda Clubhouse and "greenside" seating at the 18th Green, the 1922 Club provides your guests with a premium experience and views of the newly restored finishing hole at Wakonda.
- The air-conditioned Panorama Room offers views of the 10th hole with comfortable seating, shaded areas, and TV screens broadcasting live coverage ensure your guests won't miss a moment of the tournament. Guests will enjoy an upgraded food and beverage experience inside the clubhouse. VIP shuttle service will allow them to conveniently park and take a brief shuttle ride to the front of the clubhouse allowing for a true turnkey hospitality experience.

Standard Bearer SponsorShip
- No other sponsorship opportunity enables your corporate logo to "cover more ground" than the standards.
- With this sponsorship, your company's identity will follow the footsteps of each professional group in the tournament on the mobile score board carried by our volunteer standard bearers from the 1st tee all the way through the 18th green.
- Standards are carried inside the ropes by volunteers with the players and caddies, where spectators eyes will be focused at groups navigate the golf course.

Commemorative Spectator Seating SponsorShip
- Back by popular demand, the Principal Charity Classic will be providing complimentary bag chairs in key areas of the golf course for use by tournament spectators. The chairs are provided to spectators to use during the competition and are provided as a premium commemorative takeaway for spectators after their time at the tournament is over.
- The bag chairs are co-branded, featuring the tournament logo and a sponsor logo, providing unique brand alignment with the Principal Charity Classic and providing a long-lasting brand awareness opportunity post event.
- Each seating location will feature 150 bag chairs distributed evenly each day Friday-Sunday.

Sustainability Program
In 2022, the Principal Charity Classic drafted our initial Sustainability Plan with support systems from title sponsor, Principal, the City of Des Moines, and the Golf Environment Organization (GEO).
The Principal Charity Classic Sustainability Program allows for our tournament partners to extend sustainability focus areas in a stakeholder-facing mechanism for spectators, partners, and community members to translate sustainability through tournament operations, engagement, and legacy projects.
We know that we cannot go on this sustainability journey alone. We are seeking partners who are making their own individual strides in sustainability to help create a robust support system to make the greatest impact possible during tournament week and year-round.

Zero Waste partner
- Support the tournament's mission of ultimately achieving zero-waste certification through efforts to divert event waste from the landfill through recycling, donations, composting and food reclamation
- Assist in communicating recycling program through branded waste and recycling stations and on-course signage
- Opportunity to share company's corporate responsibility programming in tournament communications
Water Conservation Partner
- As a Water Conservation Partner your company will help reduce the event's water consumption and protect our natural resources
- Activate via potable water stations to minimize the amount of purchased plastic water bottles
- Responsibly sourced, co-branded water bottles given to volunteers, vendors, players and other tournament constituents
- Opportunity to partner with local stakeholders and PCC to develop water restoration Legacy Project

Honorary Observers
Experience the unique opportunity of walking "inside the ropes" with PGA TOUR Champions professionals during competition. As an Honorary Observer, you will join your group on the first tee prior to play where you will be introduced to the professionals and the gallery. You may then walk the entire 18 holes inside the ropes, allowing you to observe the players up close and personal as they compete.
